About Lohana

Lohana Sandy is a  Brazilian children’s and editorial illustrator

based in Toronto. She has recently graduated from Seneca Polytechnic and, shortly after, completed illustrating her first children’s book. Working on a book had always been her dream, but she didn’t expect it to happen so soon.

The experience confirmed that this is exactly what she wants to do!!

Animals are almost always part of her work (she especially loves otters and dogs), along with nature and stories that make the heart feel warm.

When she’s not illustrating, she enjoys life with her husband, reading, or snacking.
